Dear God, PS- I love You.

This morning when I was praying fajr I had a sort of "I love You" moment during my supplication. And then I felt a little weird. Love for God is obviously a necessity in religion, but to say it in prayer... Does anyone else do that? And why did I feel weird? I guess its a God-knows-my-heart-so-obviously-already-knows type of thing, do I need to say it?

So PS- I love You.

=) this post made me smile so much.
i need some 'i love you' moments with God, too. don't feel weird about it - it's such a blessing to have that sort of clarity in prayer, or any reflection involving God. inshaAllah, we'll all have moments like that.

awh, it's totally not weird! those are the best moments actually (I've noticed especially during fajr) when you can just sit in peace and talk to Allah like you're old pals. because we are, it's our job to acknowledge it. Who wouldn't want to be best friends with Allah swt?
